I am a video game enthusiast both modern and retro. I have a particular interest in the Famicom and am one of the few die-hard collectors and researchers for the console. I am also the co-founder of the wiki website FamiWiki which aims for proper English coverage of Famicom related topics. I don't just research about this specific console though, I research and collect all sorts of video game stuff. In particular, I have a high interest in technology related things from the 20th century since I never got to experience what that past was like as someone born in 2002. Video games from the past fascinate me most as you get to pry into the ideas that would evolve one way or another. There is a usual cliche that the people of today would dismiss older works as due to the limited technology of their time, they are seen as primitive to what we have now. That primitiveness is what attracts me though, as it gets to the core of what makes games fun in the first place.
